Child's Death Ruled Homicide; Remains Believed to Be Jezaih King
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) – The Allen County Coroner has ruled the death of the remains discovered in a Fort Wayne home on Tuesday a homicide. Investigators have reasonable belief that the remains are that of 2-year-old Jezaih King. The manner of death is asphyxia due to compression of the neck.
The child's mother, 31-year-old Latisha Lawson, is in police custody on a preliminary charge of neglect of a dependent. Reports indicate Lawson killed her toddler in November of 2009 and hid the body.
Police say during questioning by investigators, Lawson admitted that she killed Jesaih King because she could no longer handle his temper tantrums. Police say Lawson also told them how she did it…that she fed the 2-year-old olive oil and vinegar until he stopped breathing. Lawson has a ten-year old daughter, who was placed into police protective custody. Police have not detailed what the daughter knew about Jesaih.

People are really losing their minds. There are so many services that could have helped her in our city. Fort Wayne isnt a tiny place. people just dont think anymore.
