Providence, RI – Torn frenulum. Think about that for a second. Though there are several of these on the human body, it’s not a stretch to imagine the pain of any one of them being torn. Now imagine that pain being experienced by a 4 month-old girl. Throw in several other injuries to the lips, mouth and throat. Add two fractured arms, 10 broken ribs-of which the human body only has 24- and significant injury to her vaginal area. Still here? I’m impressed. I’m having enough trouble writing this.
The man responsible for the infant’s care, then 19 year-old Emanuel Baptista, told the girl’s mother the baby had choked on a baby wipe. The mother then took the baby to receive medical care. In the resulting examination, the hospital uncovered all of the aforementioned injuries and reported them to the authorities. Baptista was arrested in August of 2009.
In March of this year, he was convicted on child abuse and child molestation charges. On May 16th he was sentenced to two simultaneous life sentences and an additional 20 years.
That is the devil and you can't tell me any different. I can't even... you know... OMG.... I hope someone kills his ass in jail.

If the hospital would have told me all of that, it'd be just like in "Chicago" when Velma Kelly says "It wasn't until later, when I was washing the blood off my hands I even knew they were dead."
I hope those inmates just take turns ravaging him.

I'll give that fool a half a year before he kills himself in Jail. The inmates is gonna turn his ass inside out when he gets there.

We know he Is a piece of shyte, but how in the hell did that babys mother did not know that her child was being molested.??! Her ass needs to be sentenced as well!

The story doesn't say the injuries were old. All of this could've happened at one time.

One thing that i dont understand is, is he the child's father? And if not, why did she leave her baby with him? This sort of thing is getting out of hand, these foolish girls leaving their children with a guy that may or may not be the child's father. Hell, even now these days and of course days of past, it is not safe to leave a child alone with the father as well. Sad as it is, but it's reality. My heart is literally heavy. I really dont wish and hope a lot of things on people, but it was that demonic spirit that took over him to make him do that and the same spirit will consume the other inmates too and do the same damage to him that he caused that innocent baby.
Does anyone know if the baby survived? Because in most cases like this, sadly , they don't make it because their tiny bodies are so fragile. I hope that she did survive. Pray people..please pray for a change in this world and pray it happens quick.
