Two women are in jail after police said they tried to starve their own flesh and blood.
Metro Police arrested Lakisha Green and her mother Cassie Friday night.
They said they refused to give Lakisha's six year old special needs daughter any food. The girl could not feed herself or even talk and when doctors looked at her, she weighed only 13 pounds. Both Greens face several charges including criminal attempted murder. The girl is living with medical assistance.

They've recently charged them both with murder, but never updated the condition of the little girl.
