Episode #13175 - Hot Off The Presses: WTF
Orlando, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Kendra Leonard, a 28-year-old Florida woman was jailed after she allegedly left her baby in a roach-filled apartment for eight hours to go out partying.
According to the Orlando Police Department, Leonard left her baby alone Thursday with little more than a dirty diaper and a bag of popcorn in her crib to pursue a night of partying.
Investigators say police discovered the child abandoned after a neighbor reported a possible burglary at the woman's apartment.
The apartment the child was left in was described by police as being over-run with roaches, without running water or baby supplies. A full scale search was launched to find the child's mother, including helicopter and multiple patrol car units.
The search was called off when the woman returned to her apartment around midnight. When detectives asked Leonard where she had gone, she explained that she originally went to Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights, but when she didn't have enough money, she went to Universal City Walk instead. Leonard was booked into the Orlando County Jail on charges of child neglect. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond.

I haven't seen ep#13173 yet but I am shocked to read they let this horrible woman go on bond. She needs to stay locked up.

Agreed child neglect of any kind warrants jail time, but dude in episode #13173 raped a little boy. Leaving a child home alone and rape are two totally different things.
